Webinar On Polices By The Local Government Related To The Corona Virus (COVID 19) Pandemic

Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Government Studies Program, University of Medan Area held a Webinar (Online Seminar) On Polices By The Locak Government Related to the Corona Virus (Covid 19) Pandemic with Zoom service with the theme “The Importance of Overcoming Regional Government Policy Deadlock in Handling Covid-19 “on Monday, May 18, 2020. The event was held at 13:00 Wibs.d. Done.

This event presents a speaker from Central Java H. Ganjar Pranowo, SH, MIP, he was born in Karanganyar, Central Java, then he also served as the second term Governor of Central Java who served since September 5, 2018. Previously, he was the first Governor of Central Java from August 23, 2013 to August 23, 2018 and Members of the House of Representatives from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle Faction for the 2004 period

The event was opened by the Moderator, Yurial Arief Lubis, S. Sos., M.I.P, Lecturer in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Medan Area University and opening remarks by the Medan Area University Prof. Dr. Dadan Ramdan, M.Eng, M.Sc., then as for the discussion from the event, Evi Yunita Kurniaty, S.Sos., M.I.P, Head of Government Study Program, University of Medan Area.

The event was attended by more than 200 participants and proceeded smoothly. The participants were very enthusiastic about the material presented, especially in terms of knowing how to overcome the impasse of regional government policies in handling Covid-19. Much appreciation from the participants who attended both Lecturers and Students of Medan Area University.
